Personal predictors of emotional burnout among secondary school teachers

Introduction. Today, in addition to studying the occurrence of syndrome field professional activity, attention researchers is also directed internal factors leading emotional burnout. As such, burnout identify anxiety, low self-esteem, a tendency perfectionism, stress tolerance, external locus control, and non-adaptive coping strategies. Research method. Psychological testing using methods K. Maslach V.V. Boyko burnout, S. Muddy's hardiness test, Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale (TMAS), Hewitt-Flett's Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale. The method statistical processing regression analysis. An empirical study was conducted on sample secondary school teachers Gorno-Altaisk (N=80). Results. It found that most participants have an average or high level exhaustion, depersonalization, reduction professionalism, while index terms values refers moderate level. In accordance with results TMAS, respondents (70%) anxiety. On scale, generally scored above average, indicating they could bounce back from adverse situations. Based analysis, following personal predictors were identified: anxiety hardiness. perfectionism showed presence influence only one component – professionalism. Conclusions prospects. theoretical analysis significance among representatives socionomic professions both scientific point view (it medical workers their own specifics, which may be consequence content activity), practical, since prevention workplace will save staff increase labor productivity.
